Venezuelan people participate in peace and joy in electoral dry run

AVN.- "The most humble people have come out to participate in this dry run. The 27 centers of Aragua state are crowded of people, peace and joy," said Venezuela's Vice President Tareck El Aissami, on Sunday, when exercising his right to vote in the electoral dry run of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC, Spanish acronym).
From an elementary school in Maracay, Aragua state, he said that Sunday's activity represents what will be the victorious election process of the National Constituent Assembly this July 30.
"This is an omen of what July 30 will be, a beautiful dawn of the country and the Constitution. We are moving towards a starting point for a higher stage of the Bolivarian revolution, we are happy," he said.
El Aissami stressed that the people massively turned to the streets, to meet with dialogue and to reject violence.
"We congratulate the people, especially Aragua's people, the 27 polling stations in Aragua are overflowing with people of people in peace and joy," he added.
He explained that in this civic day the Chavista machinery and the people on the streets geared up, as an expression of democracy and peace.
"This is a message from a people that strongly rejects the coup agenda, those who from 6 April called to block the streets, to apply terrorism, violence, today they are defeated," he said.
Vice president said that this message must resonate in the conscience of the entire opposition, as the people reject the violent path they have wanted to impose.
"The people are ready to defend peace, independence, the Constitution and democracy, through the electoral route that Chavez bequeathed to us, we are deeply democratic, we will never allow our people to be led to war. Stop the crimes of intolerance and hatred," he said.
He made a call on those people coming out to participate in the simulation supporting the opposition "to these brothers we again send them our message of commitment, to give us one more opportunity to rid Venezuela of violence, economic war and factors that have deteriorated the quality of life of people."
The Vice President termed the process quick and simple, for allowing voters to become familiar with the horseshoe configuration of the National Electoral Council.
