Mass participation in dry run vote ahead of constituent assembly

AVN.- Officials, candidates and attendees to the Constitutional Election simulation held this Sunday, highlighted the unprecedented massive attendance to the call for preparation made by the National Electoral Council (CNE, Spanish acronym).
"Tranquility, massive participation and joy are the elements that characterize the event," said Freddy Bernal, National Coordinator of Local Committees of Supply and Production (Clap), from Catia neighborhood of western Caracas, adding that for the first time an electoral simulation have such a massive participation.
Likewise, the Education Minister, Elias Jaua, participated in the Sucre municipality, Miranda state and stressed the high attendance. "In Petare, there is not one person left. It was overflowing with patriotic people, and I was surprised by a tide of revolutionaries who want peace," he said.
Also at the Universidad Politecnica Territorial Cecilio Acosta, the member of the Zamora 200 Command, Franklin Ramirez, highlighted the massive mobilization of the 21 municipalities.
The Chief of Government of the Capital District, Antonio Benavides Torres, acknowledged the democratic vocation of the people, and welcomed the deployment carried out by the CNE and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
The candidate, Cilia Flores, pointed out at the Fermin Toro high school in Caracas that the electoral dry run vote is an example of the people's love for the revolutionary process.
From the Bolivarian high school Miguel Antonio Caro, in Caracas, the minister for Youth and Sport, Pedro Infante, praised that residents of the west of the city have participated by thousands in the activity.
Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez said that the Strategic Operational Command has observed a country that is completely quietly and has come out with great faith.
He noted that the process is supported by more than 4,000 FANB members. More than 232,000 men and women will be deployed on Constitutional Election Day on July 30 to ensure peace across the nation, he said.
The president of the CNE, Tibisay Lucena, from the Andres Bello high school in Caracas, where she evaluated the development of the day, stressed that the average voting time was 16 seconds.
