Renowned Paraguayan intellectual Mario Andres Casartelli said on Wednesday that Uruguayan Luis Almagro, secretary general of the Organization of American States (OAS), is 'an agent of imperialist neoliberalism.'
On Wednesday, the famous singer-songwriter posted a text entitled 'Luis Almagro and his script' on Facebook, in which he openly criticizes the OAS chief's maneuvers in favor of right-wing policies in the continent.
This was demonstrated by his constant ambiguity during the elections held in October in Bolivia. That attitude was his (deliberate) collaboration to release the demons that carried out the coup that had been orchestrated for a long time, added Casartelli, who is also a playwright.
He pointed out that Almagro had no other choice after his failure in Venezuela and 'today he must show his bosses that he is still useful.'
Casartelli, who is also president of the Jose Marti Paraguay-Cuba Cultural Association, noted that as an official of international espionage, Almagro approved the crimes against humanity committed in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador, to mention just a few countries.
Today, this man tours countries whose governments welcome him, like Paraguay, to promote a hackneyed and antiquated lecture entitled 'The obscure reality of Cuban medical missions.'
In his 'argument,' Almagro blames Cuba for the chaos prevailing in the world, using phrases that are similar to those used by the Anti-communist Leagues during the horrific Operation Condor, which resulted in thousands of missing people in Latin America whose whereabouts have not yet been discovered, the Paraguayan intellectual added.
'But this guy, carrying his script with him, and aware that it is echoed by right-wing governments, insists that the Cuban doctors work as 'agents' of Raul (he can no longer say Fidel) and Maduro,' Casartelli pointed out.
