The story seems like something out of a science fiction movie: a US senator claims on television that Iran's leaders are reptiles; Fox News reports on four species of extraterrestrial beings; an Iranian agency published that the United States has been secretly ruled by extraterrestrials since 1945; and a branch of ufology ( which studies unidentified flying objects, UFOs, and the strange phenomena associated with them) maintains that a war between Nordic and reptilian civilizations has been raging for thousands of years, also taking place on Earth.
What's extraordinary is that several of those statements actually happened. What hasn't been proven is that the extraterrestrial explanation some try to construct from them is true.
And that's precisely the most interesting part.
Kennedy did say that the Iranian leaders were “reptiles”
The first element of the story is verifiable.
Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana appeared on Fox News' The Will Cain Show on September 23, 2026. While discussing Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea, Kennedy said, and I quote:
«“I think that the people running Iran are reptiles.”»
He then explained that, according to him, they would be part of a “reptile colony” made up of China, North Korea, Russia and Iran, and added that the “reptile chief” or “quarterback” would be Xi Jinping.
Therefore, the statement is not a social media invention. Fox News still has the segment, and other media outlets have reproduced Kennedy's words.
Now comes the crucial question: Was Kennedy literally stating that Xi Jinping, Iranian leaders, and other rulers are reptilian biological beings?
The available context suggests that he was using “reptiles” as a rhetorical characterization of governments he considers hostile and, he said, untrustworthy. In fact, he immediately afterwards grouped them politically and argued that they were essentially the same.
There is no evidence in the interview that Kennedy was presenting a zoological or intelligence discovery about an extraterrestrial species infiltrated into human governments.
The phrase is real. The extraterrestrial interpretation is another matter.
Fox News did talk about four alleged extraterrestrial species
There is also a documentary basis here.
In May 2026, Fox News published a report on statements by Hal Puthoff, a researcher involved with US programs on anomalous phenomena, who claimed that bodies belonging to four extraterrestrial species had been recovered.
Fox's own article explains that those claims came from a conversation Puthoff had with Dan Farrah, director of The Age of Disclosure.
Later, on Jesse Watters Primetime, Watters presented the four categories as:
grays;
Nordics;
insectoids;
reptilians.
He also described, based on those claims, the supposed reptilians as scaly beings with long tails, similar to lizards. The available transcript also includes a particularly important phrase: “We haven't seen the evidence. ”
This last sentence considerably changes the interpretation of the matter.
Fox News did broadcast the claims.
That doesn't mean Fox News has proven that four extraterrestrial species exist.
And it also doesn't mean that the network has proven that there are reptilians infiltrated among human beings.
NASA has not found that evidence
Herein lies the central problem for any attempt to turn all this into a proven theory.
NASA explicitly maintains that it has not found credible evidence of extraterrestrial life and that there is also no evidence that UAPs ( Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenons) are of extraterrestrial origin.
Their independent 2023 report was similarly cautious: it noted that there is no conclusive evidence in the peer-reviewed scientific literature establishing an extraterrestrial origin for UAPs.
And the historical review by the US All - Domain Anomaly Resolution Office ( AARO) reached an even more specific conclusion: it found no evidence that official US investigations, academic research, or official panels had confirmed that any UAP was extraterrestrial technology. Nor did it find empirical evidence that the US government or private companies were reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology.
This does not prove that extraterrestrial life is impossible.
These are two completely different statements.
One thing is to say:
“We cannot prove that it does not exist.”
A very different one:
“We have proof that he exists and is ruling countries.”
The first one is compatible with science.
The second requires evidence that is not currently publicly available.
And then Iran appears
Here the story takes an extraordinarily peculiar turn.
In January 2014, the Iranian news agency Fars News published an article claiming that documents linked to Edward Snowden proved that the United States had been run since 1945 by an extraterrestrial race called Tall Whites.
The story claimed that these beings had been involved in the rise of Nazi Germany and that they had subsequently established a secret regime in the United States after meeting with Dwight Eisenhower in 1954.
Fars even went so far as to publish an image linking Barack Obama, Adolf Hitler, and an alleged extraterrestrial entity.
Therefore, once again, the Iranian publication existed.
But here an indispensable clarification appears.
The alleged Snowden documents were never proven to be authentic.
The story originally appeared on WhatDoesItMean.com, a website dedicated to conspiracy theories, and Fars reprinted the account. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty documented this chain of origin and noted that the original article presented the claims as coming from purported secret documents.
Foreign Policy also reconstructed the origin of the story and pointed out that the alleged connection between Snowden, the FSB, the “Tall Whites”, Hitler and Eisenhower came from that conspiracy circuit, not from authenticated evidence from the Snowden files.
In other words:
Fars actually published the story.
Snowden did not publicly provide the extraterrestrial evidence that the story claimed to contain.
These are two completely different things.
And Elena Danaan?
Here we enter another level.
Elena Danaan presents herself publicly as an author, archaeologist, Egyptologist, and “extraterrestrial contactee.” In her own biography, she claims to have worked for years in Egypt and to have participated in archaeological and epigraphic projects.
He also claims to have had physical encounters with extraterrestrials and to maintain communication with extraterrestrial organizations. His own website describes these experiences as both physical and technological contacts.
His book A Gift From the Stars presents a much broader extraterrestrial cosmology, with numerous alleged alien races, alliances, and interstellar conflicts.
But here we must make a methodological distinction.
Having training or professional experience in archaeology does not automatically make a person's subsequent claims about extraterrestrial civilizations scientific evidence. Archaeology studies human societies through material remains, documentation, stratigraphy, epigraphy, and other methods.
Claiming that a Galactic Federation exists, that certain extraterrestrial species govern certain civilizations, or that an interstellar war is currently taking place in our solar system requires a different kind of evidence: verifiable physical objects, reproducible instrumental data, biological samples, independent observations, and documentation that can be authenticated.
That evidence has not been presented publicly in a way that has been validated by the scientific community.
The point where the theory becomes truly fascinating
This is where we can formulate an interesting hypothesis without turning it into a fact.
We have three documented phenomena:
First: A US senator publicly uses the term “reptiles” to refer to the leaders of Iran and calls Xi Jinping the “chief reptile”.
Second: Fox News has broadcast claims about four alleged extraterrestrial species, including reptilians and Nordics, although it acknowledges that no evidence has been presented.
Third: An Iranian agency published a theory in 2014 that the United States is secretly controlled by extraterrestrial beings called Tall Whites or Nordics.
That is verifiable.
What we cannot prove is the fourth step:
"that there is a causal relationship between these events because there is indeed a war between Nordic extraterrestrials and reptilians."
There is not enough public evidence to establish that connection.
Coincidence, cultural influence, or something more?
Here are three possible explanations, and only one of them requires extraterrestrials.
The first is the simplest: “reptile” is an extremely old political metaphor. It’s used to describe someone considered cold, manipulative, ruthless, or lacking in empathy. Kennedy may have been using exactly that language.
The second explanation is cultural: theories about reptilians, greys, Nordics, and insectoids have been circulating for decades in ufology, popular culture, the internet, and the media. The fact that these terms later appear in political and television programs doesn't prove that those using them are talking about real beings.
The third explanation is extraordinary: that certain people know classified information about non-human species and that some political speeches are unintentionally revealing that reality.
The problem is that the third hypothesis needs extraordinary evidence.
And that evidence is not publicly available.
The piece we must not lose sight of
However, there is something that does deserve serious investigation: the UAP phenomenon.
Saying that there is not enough public evidence to claim that reptilians rule countries is not the same as saying that every unidentified aerial phenomenon is nonsense.
NASA studies UAPs.
The U.S. government has a specific office, AARO, dedicated to investigating them. There are testimonies from military personnel and officials. There are cases that remain unsolved. What is still lacking is the scientific transition from: “we don’t know what it was” to:
“We know it was an extraterrestrial spacecraft crewed by a certain species.”
That leap is precisely the one that the available evidence does not allow us to make.
And perhaps that's where the real story lies.
The strongest part of this research is not to claim that reptilians rule Iran, China, or the United States.
It is something much stranger and, paradoxically, more verifiable:
The idea of extraterrestrials has begun to occupy spaces that previously belonged exclusively to science fiction.
- A US senator uses "reptiles" when talking about foreign leaders.
- One of the main American television networks presents theories about four alleged extraterrestrial species.
- Years earlier, an Iranian news agency published a story claiming that an extraterrestrial race was secretly ruling the United States.
And surrounding all of this is a publishing, media and digital industry dedicated to building a complete cosmology of galactic federations, interstellar wars and humanoid species.
All of that can be studied sociologically, politically, and through the media.
But the element that would transform this story from an extraordinary collection of claims into a scientific discovery is still missing:
an independent, reproducible, and verifiable physical proof of the existence of those species.
Until it appears, it is best to keep the questions open without turning imagined answers into facts.
Because there is a fundamental difference between an extraordinary story that deserves to be investigated and an extraordinary story that has already been proven.
At this time, the available evidence allows us to state the former.
It does not allow us to affirm the second point.
And perhaps that is the real question that remains after listening to Kennedy:
When a senator speaks of "reptiles," is he using a political metaphor, reproducing language that is already part of UFO culture, or does he know something we don't?
Public evidence allows us to formulate the question.
Ask them what they are not yet allowed to answer with certainty.
