Press media published different phases of the matter and the interest of farmers to alleviate the situation.

Australian farmers are trying to heal their wounds, for instance, after the fire devastated Kangaroo Island, a sanctuary of Australia's fauna and flora.

Farmer Rick Morris had to face a particularly hard task and bury 400 sheep in his burning farm, the media review.

The massive bushfires that have been taking place in Australia since September caused 28 deaths, two of them on Kangaroo Island, and consumed 10 million hectares of land.

Much of the burned extensions were used for grazing cattle and sheep.

The fire swept the island from the south to the north.

The Australian Army, which deployed 3,000 troops to provide assistance in the affected areas of the country, transported firefighters by air to Kangaroo Island and also threw bundles of hay from helicopters to isolated farmers on the island.
