Through a message on Twitter, the leader of the Communist Party (PC) of Chile, Guillermo Teiller, rejected government repression and demands a response for the deaths and injuries in the context of protests against the government.
So far, 23 people have died during these days of demonstrations, and more than 2,000 have been arrested.
'The people that Piñera doesn't want to receive are now taking over the streets. Chile woke up and demands more,' he said.
