Norma Borges, appointed by President Nicolas Maduro as Venezuela''s chief of business in Costa Rica, this Wednesday blamed the Costa Rican government for the forced seizure of the Venezuelan diplomatic headquarters in San Jose.
We call on public opinion and denounce before the international community any new act, in addition to the aggression that is already taking place against us', Borges said, blaming also the usurper Maria Faria for what may happen.
The diplomatic representative of the legitimate government of Venezuela pointed out to Prensa Latina that she blamed 'everything that happens to Mrs. Maria Faria and the government of the Republic of Costa Rica.
Borges, who is not recognized by Costa Rican government President Carlos Alvarado, recriminated the irruption in the Venezuelan embassy in the early hours of this Wednesday of Faria, appointed by the self-proclaimed president in charge of Venezuela Juan Guaido and recognized by Costa Rica.
In her Twitter, she justified she assumed control of the administrative headquarters 'in the fulfillment of diplomatic functions, assigned by the pdte @jguaido and recognized by the Government of Costa Rica'.
Borges told Prensa Latina that Faria is a usurper, because in Venezuela there is only one government and it is that of constitutional president Nicolas Maduro.
The Venezuelan diplomat also denounced the complicity of the Public Force of Costa Rica in this illegitimate act, which allows the action of the usurpers of their country's embassy.
She recalled that the 60 day-period given the previous Friday by the government of San Jose for the removal of diplomats from the Caracas executive is still not completed.
Borges announced that they are awaiting a response from the Costa Rican Foreign Ministry to what they consider an act of vandalism against their diplomatic headquarters.
