President Maduro calls on the US people to reject interference against Venezuela

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asked the American people to reject the interventionist actions of the president of the United States (US), Donald Trump against Venezuela and called for the awakening of conscience and solidarity.

"People of the United States, I ask for your support to reject the interference of the Donald Trump government that intends to make of my country a Vietnam in Latin America, do not let it!", The Head of State wrote on Twitter.

The message presents a link to a video of the President making the call for peace, respect and awakening of the conscience of the American people.

Likewise, it warns about the media, communication and psychological war that international media are carrying out, especially in the United States.

The President stressed that "a campaign has been prepared to justify a coup d'etat in Venezuela, which has been, financed and actively supported by the administration of Donald Trump with faked images."

It also makes a "call to consciousness, solidarity and the awakening of the truth, we do not allow a Vietnam in Latin America" ??and asked to reject the violence. "We are a people of peace that we have a solid democracy."

He said he had "relations of respect, closeness and cooperation with the United States."
