Mixed Commission Belarus-Venezuela evaluates progress of housing projects

The Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, holds a working meeting on Thursday with members of the Belarus-Venezuela High Level Mixed Commission, in order to review the progress of joint housing construction projects.

Through a message posted on his Twitter account, Menéndez said that among the topics evaluated in this meeting are "the roadmap in construction materials industry, machinery and evaluation of new route export of services and materials."

This Wednesday, the Minister for Housing and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel, met with the Minister of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, Anatoli Chiorny, to strengthen bilateral agreements in order to expand the scope of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela (GMVV) and strengthen agreements for the acquisition of construction materials.

Last year, Venezuela and Belarus formalized a cooperation agenda 2018-2022, whose main route is the agro-industrial sector, food, housing construction, science and technology and shared development.

The High Level Joint Commission between the two nations emerged at the initiative of Commander Hugo Chávez to improve and extend cooperation relations in housing, infrastructure, agricultural food, scientific-technological development, military, among other areas.
