Venezuela, Russia to strengthen energy agreements in second half of 2017


AVN.- Venezuela's president Nicolas Maduro said Wednesday that the South American country will sign new gas and oil agreements with Russia in the second half of this year.
"For the second half of the year, important documents will be signed to expand binational investments between Russian oil and gas companies and our PDVSA," the president said in an interview with RT, published on its website.
Both countries maintain a broad framework of mutual cooperation covering more than 200 agreements in areas such as medicine, tourism, agriculture and mining.
