AVN.- The transformation of the Venezuelan economy, the defeat of agents promoting violence and the strengthening of the system of missions and great missions must set the agenda of debate of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC, Spanish acronym), Venezuela's president Nicolas Maduro stressed Monday during a national meeting with candidates for constituent assembly at the Plaza Bolivar of Caracas.
He urged the people to strengthen via the ANC the model of equity and justice constructed in Venezuela over 18 years of Bolivarian Revolution.
"They (the right) want a country of rich and poor. We want a country of equals, of I respect the people, of social rights. They want a country of rich and poor where they are rich and powerful, where they have the wealths with the imperialism. We want a country of equals, of people who works, of people who studies, of educated people, of people who lives in harmony, community and solidarity," he said.
The way –he said– "to have equality, harmony and a future country with which we dream ... has a name and surname: National Constituent Assembly."
He rejected the allegations that the Constituent Assembly will eliminate private property. He emphasized that, on the contrary, the constitutional tool is free, plural and opens a space for dialogue.
Broad campaign
The president said the electoral campaign, from 9 to 27 July, must be marked by greater freedom and breadth. To this end, the candidates will have tools like the News from the Homeland or Notipatria (Information brief of government management by the Ministry of Communication), broadcast by state and private media.
"I have asked for the highest level of freedom and that the maximum opportunity is given to all to present their proposals," he said.
Maduro asked to go into battle in social networks, house by house and with all the methods arranged to defend the constitutional mechanism.
"How do you vote? Where do you vote? What can I help you with? We have to build a powerful mobilization machinery for July 30," he said.
He asserted that the Constituent Power will allow to expand and perfect the current Constitution of 1999 promoted by President Hugo Chavez. "To have a National Constituent Assembly that with its magnificent, plenipotentiary power, will allow us to solve and guide the solution of all the social, economic and political problems of our beloved country," he said.
President said the ANC will also allow to defeat the plan of induced economic war and go to a society of tolerance and peace.
"It is real hope, power of the people, which will give us peace and place us on the path of economic recovery. It is the solution to Venezuela's problems," he added.

"The revolution is proved in the difficulties, and there is no difficulty to stop the victorious march of this revolution of history, of future," said the president.
The head of state said the revolutionary people will be in charge of defending the legacy of President Hugo Chavez to face the opposition attacks.
