Trump Threatens Tariffs on Countries Supplying Arms to Iran

He Claims ‘Regime Change’ Achieved and Says Peace Deal Is in Advanced Stage.

On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose trade sanctions on countries that supply weapons to Iran.

“A Country supplying Military Weapons to Iran will be immediately tariffed, on any and all goods sold to the United States of America, 50%, effective immediately. There will be no exclusions or exemptions!,” he posted on Truth Social.

The Republican leader also reiterated that the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran had achieved a “regime change” in the Persian nation.

“The United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive Regime Change! There will be no enrichment of Uranium, and the United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried (B-2 Bombers).”

Trump also said that “many of the fifteen points have already been agreed,” referring to his plan and not to the Iranian 10-point proposal, which was supposedly the basis of the current two-week truce and the starting point for new negotiations.

Using his usual rhetoric, Trump said the possibility of reaching a “definitive” peace agreement with Iran is at a “very advanced” stage and indicated that the reason for this agreement is having “fulfilled and surpassed all military objectives.”

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called for the ceasefire reached between the United States and Iran to also include Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.
