They will review petitions challenging restrictions on humanitarian assistance.
On Friday, Ivan Muñoz, media manager for Doctors Without Borders (MSF), confirmed that Israel’s Supreme Court has postponed an expulsion order requiring 35 humanitarian NGOs operating in Gaza and the West Bank to leave by March 1.
Israeli judges will examine the petitions filed by the NGOs seeking to lift restrictions on aid imposed by Israeli authorities, Muñoz said.
“While this news is positive, the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains critical,” said Bushra Khalidi, policy lead at Oxfam Intermon, an organization that fights poverty and inequality.
“When the court issues its final decision on the petition submitted by Oxfam and other organizations, we hope it will recognize the real threat posed to civilian lives and uphold humanitarian principles and international law,” she added.
On Dec. 30, 2025, the Zionist state issued the expulsion order for NGOs that fail to provide “complete and verifiable information about their employees,” arguing that those organizations had staff linked to Palestinian Islamist groups.
The order affected 37 NGOs from Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Among them are Medecins Sans Frontières, Action Against Hunger, Oxfam, Peace Movement, and Caritas.
In recent weeks, humanitarian aid reaching Gaza has declined considerably. In the West Bank, medical and humanitarian needs continue to rise “amid an alarming increase in violence, forced displacement and armed attacks by settlers,” MSF said.
