Bolivia's former president Evo Morales (2006-2019) greeted yesterday the leaders of the Movement for Socialism (MAS) and social movements for having selected the best men and women for the next term.
On Twitter, the former president also sent his greetings to all those who accompanied, in an impressive mass concentration, the binomial of the MAS composed of Luis Arce and David Choquehuanca for the presidency and vice-presidency, respectively, to register to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE).
From Argentina, where he is a political refugee, Evo Morales commands the electoral campaign of MAS party with a view to the elections on May 3, derived from the coup d'état in November.
The MAS was the first group to register its presidential candidates today, which becomes complicated in the face of the coup authorities who exercise an arbitrary and systematic persecution against MAS' militants and followers.
According to the Bolivian TSE, until 17:00 local time, on Monday, eight political organizations have registered their candidates.
