"Vuelta a la Patria" Plan will return Venezuelans on Wednesday from Ecuador

Three flights of the "Vuelta a la Patria" Plan will depart on Wednesday from Ecuador, to return Venezuelans, " since the xenophobic campaign that the government of that country undertook against Venezuelan migrants".

The information was released by the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, on his Twitter account.

Last Monday, Venezuela blamed the president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, and his government for any infraction against the physical, moral and civic integrity of Venezuelan nationals who are in that country, this due to the persecution that was generated against fellow citizens after a statement issued last Sunday night by the Ecuadorian president.

According to the National Government, through a Lenin statement irresponsibly, he intended to "establish an unusual correlation between violence against women in Ecuador and citizens of Venezuelan nationality."

"President Moreno's statement instigated a spiral of xenophobic violence against the Venezuelan migrant community in Ecuador, and it is the duty of his government to preserve the integrity and life of Venezuelans and Venezuelan women," the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry reported on Monday. a statement.
