Imperialist media apparatus seeks to hide US sanction against Venezuela

The U.S. media try to hide the economic attack caused by the government of Donald Trump against PDVSA –Venezuelans' main company–, an aggression that aims to undermine the legitimate government of President Nicolas Maduro.

On August 25, Trump issued a decree prohibiting all its U.S. commercial, financial companies with capital in the United States from making any agreement with PDVSA, a fact intended to be hidden by El Nuevo Herald, in a newspaper article, titled "US oil sanctions on Venezuela less likely due to supply concerns."

This was denounced by the Minister for Communication and Information, Ernesto Villegas, through his Twitter account: "They make a 'fake-news' about an alleged 'suspension of sanctions' that is not such" said Villegas, adding that "the infamous blockade and financial persecution on Venezuela continue standing causing an unjust harm to the Venezuelan people".

The onslaught of the imperial government against Venezuela has raised a wave of solidarity in favor of the southern country, while its people have survived each aggression with dignity.

"The answer worthy of the people and the government of Venezuela is intact," the minister added in another message.
